Bezsonova, Liia

Liia Bezsonova was born in Lugansk in Ukraine in 1965. She obtained master degree in graphic design in Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts (KSADA) in 1987, and later completed a postgraduate course on history and theory of design at the University in 2013. Bezsonova is the author of a scientific research which is devoted to the history and theory of design. Working as a graphic designer, artist and illustrator since the late 1980s, she founded the design studio DE.PO-Odesa in Odesa in 2020 and has been working there as art director since. The designer has been the participant and awardee of numerous design and AMP awards (the only U.S. based, not-for-profit awards competition in advertising and branding dedicated to honoring achievements in music and sound in all media) of both national and international competitions and exhibitions. Bezsonova has been a member of the Designers Union of Ukraine since 1997.
