Constantopoulos, Elias

Studied Architecture in London at the Bartlett School, UCL. He set up his own architectural practice in Athens, and was awarded First State Prize for Industrial Design (Sigma Design Ltd,1985). As an academic he taught at the Department of Architecture, University of Patras (Undergraduate courses in Interior architecture, Architecture Design Studio and History of Industrial Design) and at the National Technical University of Athens (Inter-Departmental Postgraduate Programme ‘Architectural Design, Space, Culture’: ‘Liquid modernity: Interior spatiality mediated by boundaries and objects’). He published over loo publications on art, design, architecture, including monographs on contemporary shop design, industrial design in Greece, history of applied arts, Viennese architecture, Greek architects, architecture of the loth century: Greece (Prestel-DAM). He is President of the Board of directors of the Hellenic Institute of Architecture, Vice President of the Hellenic Society for Aesthetics and member of Do.Co. Mo.Mo. – Greece.
