Oroza, Ernesto

Ernesto Oroza is designer, researcher, head of the Design & Research 3rd cycle at the École supérieure d’art et de design de Saint-Étienne, editorial director of Azimuts. Oroza has focused on the architectures of necessity, technological disobedience and other subjects that establish a connection between design and society in times of economic and political crises. His work has been presented at the MoMA, LABoral Arte y Creación Industrial (Spain), the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. He has received scholarships from the Guggenheim Foundation and Pernod Ricard Foundation (Villa Vassilieff), among others.
