Marinetti, Filippo Tommaso

Filippo Tommaso Marinetti is an Italian writer. He created in 1904 the magazine “Poesia” and was the founder of the Futurist movement at the beginning of the 20th century. After a violent car accident from which he emerged unscathed, he wrote the “Manifesto of Futurism”, which defines the modern world by speed, the cult of machines, the industrial revolution, in opposition to the past aesthetic vision of the premodern world.
