Bertrand, Gwenaëlle

Gwenaëlle Bertrand is an associate professor of design and a member of the Research Unit for Contemporary Studies in Literature, Language, Art (ECLLA) at the Jean Monnet University Saint-Etienne. With Maxime Favard, she directed the Poïétiques du design line at L'Harmattan. In 2011, in parallel to their teaching and research activities, they founded the design practice research studio Maxwen. They have also co-directed with David-Olivier Lartigaud “MàJ. Design, environnements techniques et pratiques exploratoires”, published by the Cité du design in 2020 and “Design et industrie à l'ère de l’Anthropocène” in the scientific journal “Design Arts Médias” in 2021.
